My partner and I love cooking together, but cleaning—not so much.

Having both grown up in homes which used sour sponges, mildewy rags, and wasteful paper towels, we fell in love with Swedish dish cloths which promised an odorless anti-microbial solution that’s biodegradable and less wasteful for the environment.

Although they loved using the dish cloths, they couldn’t find aesthetic ones that complemented the home decor they had carefully cultivated. Athena and Kevin started Soaks so they could personally design pieces they’d be proud to feature in their own apartment.

Soaks exists to bring fun and functionality to the ritual of cleaning.
